Step by step guide

1. Step

Place one of the shin pads in a dish and cover with boiling water - Important that the entire shin pad is covered.

2. Step

Use a fork and keep the l shin pad moving in the water for approx. 30 seconds.

3. Step

Use the fork to take the shin pad out of the water and quickly place the shin pad in the desired location on the shin bone.

(If necessary, use a football sock so that the warm shin splint does not have direct contact with the shin. )

4. Step

Allow the shin pad to cool on the shin for approx. 30 seconds until hardened.

5. Step

Repeat the entire process from steps 1-4 with the other shin pad.

6+7. Step

Add foam to the back of your newly shaped shin pads, and cut if necessary. excess foam off with scissors.
